Meet and connect with new people
Studying together
Networking with other students and getting to know new people at FAU is also possible outside the lecture hall.
The Students’ Representatives (Stuve) at FAU are committed to the interests of students at FAU at the subject, university-wide or Bavarian-wide level. There are also working groups and conferences for various student topics at the Stuve.
Student associations (FSI)are a group of students from their own subject who volunteer for their fellow students in all matters relating to their studies. Among other things, student associations organize events and celebrations, collect old exam papers for reference and are in contact with teaching staff.
Whether pub crawl, new students’ welcome weekend or city rally – many student associations organize events for new students in the winter semester. There are also groups for students on StudOn and on Whatsapp.
Students from different semesters with the same interests can meet through university groups and student initiatives,
The Office of Equality and Diversity at FAU shows other ways of networking, for example for international students, LGBTIAQ* or for everyone from families without experience of university. In May 2024, the network MosaicFAU – Community of PoC was founded.
Students from all faculties meet in the canteens and cafeterias, at university sports or in the music groups of Erlangen University Music.
If you want to network directly with FAU, you can do so on various social media channels and stay up to date.
