Seminars
Seminars offered by the Career Service
The Career Service regularly offers FAU students and graduates a wide range of free seminars focusing on applying for jobs and starting a career, as well as valuable skills for the world of work.
Please read the information on the conditions for participation in events run by the Career Service carefully.
You can sign up for the events if you are a student, graduate or doctoral candidate at FAU (up until one year after finishing your degree).
You can only participate in the events if you have made a binding registration via StudOn beforehand. If a seminar is already fully booked, you will be placed on the waiting list. Experience has shown that there is a fairly high chance of getting a place on the course after being on the waiting list.
The registration periods for the individual webinars and seminars can be found on StudOn.
Experience has shown that there is a fairly high chance of getting a binding place on the course after being on the waiting list. If you are no longer interested in taking part, please withdraw from the course via StudOn. You can withdraw from the course up until five days before the start of the seminar.
For instance, if a seminar takes place on a Friday, you can withdraw from the course up until Sunday at the latest. You have to withdraw from the course yourself on StudOn.
Registration is considered binding for registered participants who have not made use of their right to withdraw. Students who fail to appear at the seminar for reasons within their control or who inform us that they are not coming less than five days prior to the course are considered to be absent. A full-day seminar costs FAU an average of €1000. Please withdraw from the event if you are not able to attend. It is stipulated in the registration and participation conditions that participants who fail to attend seminars will be prohibited from registering for seminars during the rest of the seminar in question and the following semester.
