Exhibition “Beyond Boundaries” in the Schlossgarten
From March 13 until April 21: Contemporary art in the Schlossgarten
Contemporary art at FAU: Students at the Institute of Art History have organized an exhibition of contemporary art in the Schlossgarten in Erlangen. The art will remain available for viewing in the Schlossgarten in Erlangen until April 21.
What is the exhibition about?
According to the curators of the exhibition, “all the works interact with the natural surroundings of the Schlossgarten. They play with the wind and the weather, and at the same time are themselves changed by their (natural) surroundings. “Beyond Boundaries” brings art to people. It crosses a boundary itself and leaves its familiar surroundings. This creates space for interaction and reflection.” Further information
The art work is displayed throughout the Erlangen Schlossgarten and is freely accessible. The Schlossgarten in Erlangen is open free of charge from 6 am until 8 pm every day. Signs at the art works explain their context. Further information is also available on the exhibition’s Instagram channel @beyond_boundaries_exhibition. A few snapshots of some of the art works:
