Since 2017, ZOLLHOF has assisted more than 100 start-ups to validate their ideas, launch them onto the market and find financing as part of its tailored 6 month incubation program. 70 percent of the teams are still successful in the market, have acquired 300 million euros external capital and have created more than 1000 jobs. Start-ups benefit from the unique innovation ecosystem in the region, in which FAU works closely with global players such as Siemens, Schaeffler or adidas, with extramural research institutions such as Fraunhofer, Max Planck, Helmholtz and Leibniz as well as many other partners.
