Energy-saving lights

Lights are part and parcel of the festive season. But how can we decorate our homes in an energy-efficient and sustainable manner whilst still using fairy lights etc.?

• Use LED fairy lights, or solar-powered LED lights for outside.
• Switch the lights off when you are not in the room.
• Use a time switch to save unnecessary consumption.
• But even so, you should remember that less is more!
