FAU saves Energy

The topic of energy and energy costs will inevitably affect FAU in the coming months. First of all, however, we would like to reassure everyone, and our students in particular, that FAU will do everything it can to ensure that the university continues to operate over the winter without any major restrictions, especially when it comes to teaching face to face.

As it is not yet clear how the situation concerning energy supplies will develop in autumn, FAU is following a carefully thought out step-by-step plan. We are counting on you all to help us put this plan into practice. If we all work together, act sensibly and find innovative ways to save energy we hope we can save so much energy that we will not experience any bottlenecks in supply.

Our motto for the winter semester is #FAUsavesenergy. Let’s all take this to heart and do everything we can to make it a reality. Use the hashtag #FAUsavesenergy to share the ways you are saving energy on social media with us and the world and generate more awareness of this important topic.

On our page “FAU saves energy” will give you valuable tips for saving energy at FAU and at home, keep you up to date with current developments and give you the opportunity to bring any potential energy saving measures to our attention. We will also report back on ongoing results, savings and progress at FAU. Please bear with us if not all pages are completed yet, it is a work in progress.
