Franken Finance Festival for start-ups from the region

This time in the online edition

At the Franken Finance Festival on 9 July 2020, start-ups and those interested in starting their own business from the region will have the opportunity to find out about various financing and funding options and to benefit from individual advice. This year, FAU, the Medical Valley Center and Zollhof are organising the event entirely online.

What’s it all about?

At the outset, prospective entrepreneurs often have an abundance of inspiration and ambitious ideas, but they tend to be rather less enthusiastic when it comes to the question of organising seed capital. This then often turns out to be what puts the spanner in the works, preventing highly promising business ideas from taking off.

At the Franken Finance Festival on 9 July, prospective entrepreneurs or those who are just starting out with their own business can finally ask the questions they have been wondering about: How does financing work? Where can I find the best possible support? How can I get funding and what are the various financing options available to me? Various options such as state funding programmes, accelerators, incubators, business angels or crowd investing will be presented and described in more detail, and workshops will be offered aimed at helping participants to investigate which company form is best suited to their venture. The legal foundations and requirements for the projects will also be dealt with.

In order to ensure that no questions are left unanswered, experts will be on hand to offer individual advice (slots can be reserved). Successful entrepreneurs from the start-up scene, potential investors and workshops are all available to help prospective entrepreneurs position their idea successfully in the business world.
